Terms of use

Flower Boy Music (theromanticos.org) is operated by Flower Boy Entertainment [registered legal name and address to be completed], in partnership with Secret Billionaire Empire (SBE) [registered legal name and address to be completed], Accra, Ghana.

1. The service

Flower Boy Music lets artists create an account, publish a profile, plan their content, submit songs for review and be listed on the artist board, and lets visitors listen to previews, open artists’ streaming platforms and buy listening passes.

2. Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep your password private. You must be 18 or older, or use the platform with a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

3. Your music stays yours

Uploading a song, a photo or a story does not transfer any ownership. You give Flower Boy Music a non-exclusive licence, for as long as the content is online, to host it, review it and show your profile, photos and 30-second previews on the platform and in its promotion. You can delete your content at any time.

4. Paid full plays

Full songs are sold to listeners only for songs where the artist has ticked the paid-listening licence. With that licence the artist confirms they control the rights in the recording and the composition (or have the agreement of all co-owners) and allows full streams on the platform to pass holders. The artist receives 60% of the value of each play, accounted monthly. The artist can withdraw the licence at any time; plays already sold remain due.

5. Collective management (GHAMRO)

Flower Boy Music makes musical works available to the public, which requires licences from collective management organisations. Flower Boy Music obtains and keeps the licences needed from the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) and, where it operates elsewhere, from the competent local societies, and pays their tariffs. Artists who are members of GHAMRO or another society keep collecting their performance and mechanical royalties through that society: the share paid by Flower Boy Music on paid plays is in addition to, and never replaces, those royalties. Artists should register their works and give their ISRC codes so that they are identified.

6. Payments to artists

For each paid full play the artist earns 60% of the value of the play (pass price divided by the number of plays). Earnings are shown in the artist space, accounted monthly and paid within 30 days after the end of each month by Mobile Money or bank transfer once the balance reaches US$5 or its equivalent; smaller balances carry over. Taxes are withheld when the law requires it. Plays obtained by fraud (bots, fake accounts, refunded payments) are not paid.

7. Submissions and contracts

Submitting a song does not create a contract and gives no exclusive right to anyone. If a song is accepted, the artist receives the applicable agreement to read and sign with Secret Billionaire Empire before any distribution. Buying promotion does not require a contract.

8. What is not allowed

Uploading music you do not have the rights to, uncleared samples, hateful or illegal content, impersonating another artist, buying or faking streams, downloading or copying full songs from the platform, and attacking the service.

9. Takedown

If you think content on the platform infringes your rights, write to us with the link and proof of your rights. We remove infringing content quickly and may close repeat infringers’ accounts.

10. AI assistant

AI answers and post plans are suggestions generated automatically. They can be wrong and are not legal, financial or medical advice. You stay responsible for what you publish.

11. No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee streams, followers, playlist placements, bookings or income.

12. Liability and indemnity

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the last 12 months. An artist who uploads content they do not have the rights to is responsible towards the real rights holders and compensates Flower Boy Music for the claims, costs and damages this causes.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, without removing the protection of mandatory laws of your country. We first try to settle any dispute amicably.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The date below shows the current version; important changes are announced on the platform.
